WE HAVE 2 AVAILABLE DATES LEFT FOR FALL 2022—CALL FOR DATES. NOW BOOKING FOR 2023. Mulberry Chapel is a 2400 square foot open pavilion that can accommodate up to 175 guests. A separate cottage on the site offers restroom facilities, a changing room, sleeping loft and a kitchenette. A large brick courtyard and picturesque meadow provides space for reception activities beyond the chapel grounds. Ample parking space available nearby. The venue is conveniently located off Interstate 85, approx. 75 miles northeast of Atlanta, 35 miles north of Athens, and 65 miles southwest of Greenville, SC.

 

The Venue and Farm

Mulberry Chapel was built with love by the Coker family. Every beam, post, and detail was carefully cut, crafted, hand sanded, stained and assembled to match George Coker's vision. The surrounding 450 acre farm has been in the family for 50 years. Packages, Pricing & Availability

And when you choose our venue, you will have the entire weekend, not just a few hours. This gives you time for rehearsal, setup, ceremony, reception and clean-up. We also have a Ceremony-Only option.

THE DOGWOOD PACKAGE
Ceremony and Reception: Starting at $3750

  • Up to 100 guests (any additional guests are an extra $100 per 25, up to a maximum of 175 guests)

  • Friday 4PM – Sunday Noon (allows plenty of time for rehearsal, setup and decorating, ceremony, reception/party, and cleanup)

  • Cottage rental for 2 nights (sleeps 2-3)

  • 20’ x 40’ Reception Tent with lighting and optional cover

  • 100 maple wood folding chairs

  • 12 round 60” tables (seats 8)

  • 3 rectangular 6’ tables 

  • Bench seating in the Chapel for 100 guests

  • Please consider our optional Venue Concierge service for $500 to be on-site, assist your vendors and ensure that your dream wedding at Mulberry Chapel goes off without a hitch

THE MULBERRY PACKAGE
Ceremony only: Starting at $1000

  • Up to 100 guests (any additional guests are an extra $50 per 25, up to a maximum of 175 guests)

  • Access to the Chapel for 4 hours on day of ceremony

  • Bench seating in the Chapel for 100 guests (additional seating for guests would need to be rented or sourced by the couple)

50% Deposit due upon booking. Refundable up to 90 days before event. Contact us for complete contract terms and venue rules.

PHOTOGRAPHY ACCESS
Photoshoot location only: $100 (up to 3 hours)

 
 

Amenities

Here is a list of services, accommodations and equipment available with your rental. Please contact us if you have any questions. 

Venue Concierge $500

Our Venue Concierge will be there to help for your entire stay—assisting vendor orientation, and answering questions with knowledgable problem solving (pertaining to venue only—not a coordinator, assistant or decorator). This service also comes with added perks like parking shuttle service and a locally-sourced welcome basket of goodies.

  • Pre-wedding coordination meeting with couple, vendors, etc.

  • Staff member on site/on call throughout your rental period

  • Assists catering van or food truck parking and hook up

  • Minor assistance for decorators where necessary (ie. moving ladders)

  • Minor assistance for all other vendors (Coordinators, DJs, Photographers, etc.) as they set up

  • Shuttle service for guests to/from parking area

  • Assists with table/chair arrangement

  • Welcome basket: champagne/wine and snacks

  • Starting/maintaining fire in the fire pit

  • Lighting or moving patio heaters

  • Guided nature walks, farm talks and/or a sawmill demonstration

  • Trash duty – switching out trash bags as bins fill up

  • Keeping bathrooms stocked with supplies

Included with rental at no additional cost:

  • Wheelchair accessible restroom

  • **Bridal Cottage with master bath, kitchenette, sleeping loft, HVAC

  • **Large Brick Courtyard with 8' x 10' Pavilion and Fire Pit

  • **20' x 40' Reception Tent with lighting and optional cover

  • **Bench Seating in Chapel, 100 maple chairs, 15 tables

  • Water and electricity

  • Mowed parking area(s)

  • Maintained grounds and pathway lighting

  • Rolling trash bins with lids and bags, and trash removal

  • Nature trails

  • **Primitive campground

Other options available for an extra fee:

  • 4 Patio heaters ($50 each, one tank of fuel)

  • 4 additional 10' x 20' tents ($125 each)

  • Parking/Shuttle service: $200
