Nestled in the foothills of the North Georgia mountains, on a secluded farm, is a newly built chapel with grand views of rolling pastures and natural woodlands.


NOW BOOKING 2024-2025. Mulberry Chapel is a 2400 square foot open pavilion that can accommodate up to 175 guests. A separate cottage on the site offers restroom facilities, a changing room, sleeping loft and a kitchenette. A large brick courtyard and picturesque meadow provides space for reception activities beyond the chapel grounds. Ample parking space available nearby. The venue is conveniently located off Interstate 85, approx. 75 miles northeast of Atlanta, 35 miles north of Athens, and 65 miles southwest of Greenville, SC.

Mulberry Chapel was built with love by the Coker family. Every beam, post, and detail was carefully cut, crafted, hand sanded, stained and assembled to match George Coker's vision. The surrounding 450 acre farm has been in the family for 50 years. NOW BOOKING 2024-2025. We believe in full transparency with our pricing. And when you choose our venue, you will have the entire weekend, not just a few hours. This gives you time for rehearsal, setup, ceremony, reception and clean-up. We also have a Ceremony-Only option.

Rehearsal, Ceremony and Reception: Starting at $4500

  • 100 guests: $4500
    Up to 125 guests: $5250
    Up to 150 guests: $6000

  • Friday 4PM – Sunday Noon (allows plenty of time for rehearsal, setup and decorating, ceremony, reception/party, and cleanup)

  • Cottage rental for 2 nights (sleeps 2-4)

  • 20’ x 60’ Reception Tent with lighting and optional cover

  • Maple wood folding chairs (quantity depends on guest count)

  • Round 60” tables (each seat 8, quantity depends on guest count)

  • Available Rectangular 6 ft. tables  

  • Bench seating in the Chapel

  • Please consider our optional Venue Concierge service for $750 to be on-site, assist your vendors and ensure that your dream wedding at Mulberry Chapel goes off without a hitch.

Ceremony only, GREAT FOR ELOPEMENTS: Starting at $1000

  • Up to 100 guests

  • Access to the Chapel for 4 hours on day of ceremony

  • Bench seating in the Chapel for 100 guests 

This package is not available on Friday/Saturday during April, May, June, September, October and November. 50% Deposit due upon booking. Refundable up to 90 days before event. Contact us for complete contract terms and venue rules.

Here is a list of services, accommodations and equipment available with your rental. Please contact us if you have any questions. 

Venue Concierge $750

Must be reserved 30 days before event

Our Venue Concierge will be there to help for your entire stay—assisting vendor orientation, and answering questions with knowledgable problem solving (pertaining to venue only—not a coordinator, assistant or decorator). 

  • Pre-wedding touchbase meeting with couple, vendors, etc.

  • Staff member on site/on call throughout your rental period

  • Assists catering van or food truck parking and hook up

  • Ladder assistance

  • Minor assistance for all other vendors (Coordinators, DJs, Photographers, etc.) as they set up

  • Assists with table/chair arrangement

  • Starting/maintaining fire in the fire pit (if desired)

  • Lighting patio heaters (if rented)

  • Trash duty – switching out trash bags as bins fill up

  • Keeping bathrooms stocked with supplies

Included with rental at no additional cost:

  • Wheelchair accessible restroom

  • **Bridal Cottage with master bath, kitchenette, sleeping loft, HVAC

  • **Prep Area with work tables and utility sink with hot/cold water

  • **Large Brick Courtyard with 8' x 10' Pavilion and Fire Pit

  • **20' x 60' Reception Tent with lighting and optional cover

  • **Bench Seating in Chapel (benches seat up to 100)

  • **Maple Chairs (quantity depends on guest count)

  • **Tables (quantity depends on guest count)

  • Water and electricity

  • Mowed parking area

  • Maintained grounds and pathway lighting

  • Rolling trash bins with lids and bags, and trash removal

  • Nature trails

  • **Campground with fire pit and 2 RV hookups (water and electricity)
